We have three sessions lined up!
All sessions are on SATURDAY APRIL 1, 2017.
1. Into to Acro Yoga - Basing. Flying. Spotting. (8am - 10am)
We will explore the fundamental postures and roles of Acro Yoga. You will leave with the knowledge of how to base, fly, and spot foundational Acro Yoga postures. A regular yoga or physical fitness practice is recommended. No partner required.
2. Partner Yoga & Acro Yoga Counter Balances (10:30am - 12:30pm)
Move in delicate harmony with another individual. Through Partner Yoga we will deepen numerous yoga postures allowing you to heighten your awareness in the distribution of energy and strength moving through your body in connection with another. While learning about Counter Balances, we will discover the subtleties of movement between two bodies moving together. No partner required.
3. Sequencing Acro Yoga Postures & Acro Yoga Therapeutics (5:30pm - 7:30pm)
With the foundational Arco Yoga postures established, we will learn how to move and transition between postures seamlessly beginning our journey into the cyclical flow of Acro Yoga washing machines. Through Acro Yoga Therapeutics, we will find deep therapeutic releases by assisting one another into a space of letting go. We will work to decompress the spine, release tension, and bring you into a space of complete relaxation. This segment is the perfect way to stimulate, invigorate, and relax the body, mind, and soul. This workshop is recommended for individuals that attended the Intro to Acro Yoga workshop or those with an established Acro Yoga practice.
