This workshop presents a step-by-step methodical approach into the fusion of yoga, acrobatics and movement. We examine the variables to facilitate a healthy and accessible practice highlighting how to move forward in sharing the fusion of acrobatics and yoga, by introducing you to the foundational pillars of our teacher training, Acromotion. By drawing on numerous lineages of movement arts, you will discover how to cultivate a safe practice that fosters full body strength, precise alignment knowledge and cues, along with strategic drills to unlock a stronger and more confident practice. We will place an emphasis on how to create a safe environment, highlighting common mistakes that occur when practicing and guiding. Begin or grow your journey in Acromotion with this 6 hour intensive immersion offering. A regular yoga or physical fitness practice of at least three months is recommended. No partner required.
INTRO TO ACRO YOGA: Root to Rise! (2 hours)

Explore foundational acro yoga postures and movement calibrations to refine and strengthen your practice. To foster a practice that moves with ease, full body strength and confidence, we will cultivate heightened body awareness by tuning into subtle movement details. This workshop is perfect for beginners and established acro yoga practitioners looking to move with smooth articulation and precision. You will leave with the knowledge of how to base, fly and spot foundational acro yoga postures, along with drills and calibrations to fine tune and strengthen your practice.
A regular yoga or physical fitness practice of at least three months is recommended. No partner required.
PARTNER YOGA + STANDING ACRO YOGA POSTURES: Uplifted! (2 hours)

Move in delicate harmony with another individual. We begin with partner yoga to heighten your awareness in the distribution of energy and strength moving through your body in connection with each other. While exploring standing acro yoga postures, you will learn to balance strength and flexibility with creative entries and exits, to allow you to transition seamlessly through standing postures. Learn how to base, fly and spot with confidence.
A regular yoga or physical fitness practice of at least three months is required. No partner necessary for sign up.
